“I will be back!”
One rider will be missing from the grid at this years KDM Cookstown 100 is Manx Classic rider, and current Irish road race champion, Allan Brew. This is indeed a major blow for the classic race fans,as Allan is without doubt one of the men to watch on board his 350 Aermacchi and 500 Seeley machines.
Unfortunately for Allan, he is presently recovering from a recent illness, and has had to rule out competing at Cookstown this year. A great supporter of the Irish Classic scene, and Cookstown, Ramsay based Allan intends to be back in the saddle before long, and in his own words, “I will be back at Cookstown in 2015” Get Well Soon Allan!.
The KDM Cookstown 100 will take place on Friday (practice)and Saturday, 25th/26th April. Roads Close on Friday at 12 noon, and on Saturday at 10.00am.
The KDM Cookstown 100 is also the second counting round of the 2014 Duke Rankings Championship, and the first round of the season in NI.
